Optical illusions look different depending on your age

This woman can look young or old.
How old you are has an effect on which you see.

A 2018 study published in the journal Nature involving 393 participants found that age plays a role in how old the woman is perceived. The participants were aged 18 to 68 years and grouped into <= 30 years and > 30 years groups.

The first finding is that the distribution of the womans estimated age is skewed right with a mean of 36.70 years.
The second finding is that younger observers estimate around 25 years more frequently and rarely estimate over 60 years. Conversely, older observers estimated around 25 years less frequenly and were more likely to estimate over 60 years. These findings are statistically highly significant (p < 0.001)
